Beginning with the 2011 crop year, Risk Management Agency (RMA) introduced a Common Crop Insurance Policy, known as the COMBO Plan. The new guidelines combine previous yield (MPCI) and revenue (CRC) plans into one standardized plan.

Yield Protection or Revenue Protection is available for the following crops starting this fall.

  • Corn
  • Soybeans
  • Wheat

Reminder! If you have a CRC policy and start chopping before an adjuster comes out to appraise your field, you must leave strips. A strip is 10 feet wide and the length of the field. Note: There needs to be one strip per 20 acres chopped.
